Do you ever have trouble embeddding a Youtube video? I am having a heck of a time embedding the video in the post below. Any ideas? I am guessing its the video itself that is the problem, but I cannot make it stay up “in” the post, and it keeps going down to the bottom of the page because of size, yet if I change the size, it only changes the size of the item. UGH! I’m so annoyed. I have no idea how to fix it. If you have a suggestion, let me know.
EDIT: Never mind. I took out most of their code, and just used the “embed” function. MUCH better!!
Just wanted to create another reminder post to get your entries in for these two great carnivals!

On Thursday, March 6th kilroy_60 is hosting a special edition carnival; the first to welcome all those who dwell in the blogosphere, including blogospherians from StumbleUpon… YAY!
Kilroy_60’s Blogospherian Picnic
To qualify as a blog, a website needs to have dated entries, progressing chronologically. Beyond that…a blog is what each of us make it. While StumbleUpon sites qualify, by definition, they are frequently not much more than a collection of short reviews/links. Collecting individual posts of that sort wouldn’t make for much of a carnival.
The Blogospherian Picnic will welcome one of the following from any blogospherian…
That should provide a reasonable option for anyone whose blogging.
Entries are being accepted now. Think of the deadline as being today; no need to delay entering.
Email your entry to: kilroy60@gmail.com - including
—(-)-> Your name as you want it to appear
—(-)-> The URL of one page identified above
—(-)-> The URL of your blog, or what you consider your main blog if you have more than one
I’d appreciate your help promoting the picnic. Email me URL of your post including this banner and I’ll link back…

Have you sent your entry for the second Soup To Nuts progressive dinner carnival yet?
{Enter}
Remember, you can submit five posts; that gets you an entry in all five of the progressive dinner’s host blogs.
It would be a great help if you write a post on the progressive dinner. Send the URL of the post and you’ll get links back from all five host blogs.
Here’s the banner…

The post that originally sat here is gone, gone, gone.
If you read the comment below (in the comments field) you will figure out why. I only kept the first part without all the links and other information, just so you could see what the deal was and why I pulled it. So ignore this post. Carry on.
What was here:
I have been seeing this great way to generate back links to your site all over the blogosphere. It seems everyone has jumped on the bandwagon and is doing it, so I thought - why not? Plus it was fun to visit some of the blogs! This is a lot like the ViraLink from Andy Coates, except that you are able to add anchor text into your link. Jimmy Huen from FoundersCafe came up with this idea, according to a blog that I found it on.
I though it was a cool concept, and figure that in the end, it might be a nice payoff.
ETA: Yeah, well I decided not, because I like my PR4 and don’t want to risk losing it. Plus for me it isn’t all about building anything. I just like meeting new people, finding new blogs to read and focusing on my blog friendships.

Blogospherians {A Kilroy_60 original} in the know, those who value the social aspects of blogging above all, participate regularly in carnivals. There’s no better way to promote your site and to connect with other bloggers.
The latest, greatest innovation is the:
Soup To Nuts
Progressive Dinner Blog Carnival
The way a progressive dinner works is…
you start out at one house or restaurant to have hors d’oeuvres and cocktails, then move on to a different one for appetizers, and continue moving from place to place all the way through dessert.
Soup To Nuts combines the power of blog carnivals with the adventure of a progressive dinner, while adding a dash of whimsy.
You can enter as many as five posts in the Soup To Nuts PROGRESSIVE DINNER Blog Carnival. If you wish, you can enter a single submission; or two or three or four or five.
How does it work that you can submit multiple posts to one carnival; and why would you?
—(-)-> You could say, Soup to Nuts is FIVE CARNIVALS in one. All five are connected, to make one megacarnival. <-(-)— Remember, there are five different host blogs involved. If you submit five posts, every one of the host blogs will have a link to your site. Entries are being accepted NOW. Don’t be one of the people who come to enter late; to find they have no seat at the table. {Enter}
Dinner is being served 30 April, 2008
No entries will be accepted after 11:59 pm, Saturday, 26 April, 2008

Drinks After Dinner Reception
hosted by The Lives and Times…
The deadline for entries in the first five courses passed when the clock struck midnight on January 25th, but now you can still get in on the action. Anyone can submit a post (any post!) to appear in the after-dinner-reception, through 28 January.
Understand that this is ANY post you have written, ever. One post, per blog. So if you have three blogs, pick one from each blog. This is a great way to get new readers and find new blogs you might not have known existed.
Email your name and the URL of the
post to appear in the reception to:
antoniomachione@gmail.com
Remember…
Soup to Nuts will run on
Wednesday, 30 January.
My friend Michael will begin serving hors d’oeuvres & cocktails that day at 12:01 am.
I encourage you, whether you have a post appearing in dinner carnival or not, to surf through all six parts of the carnival starting at his blog, read the posts and write comments.
If you have participated in carnivals before, you know there are a myriad of benefits. The potential to get new visitors, increase traffic, be invited to exchange links and receive comments is multiplied six times during the progressive dinner.
Those who have never participated in a carnival should read this and learn how it all works. Blog carnivals are a treasure trove of opportunity.
Let me know if you join. I have!
My best gal pal is certainly not the most computer literate gal in the world. In fact, sometimes I think if she didn’t have me to solve most of her problems she wouldn’t even own a computer.
Me? I don’t know what I’d do without mine!
And you know how much it sucks when you run into a problem with your computer and you have to take it somewhere, and somehow I always end up feeling like my lifeline was removed. I admit it, I’m a computer addict.
But what if I told you that you could get all of your PC Repairs done right there at home and you wouldn’t even have to leave your house. Nor would you have to open the door to some strange guy who doesn’t speak your language because it all comes out sounding like geek speak?
Yeah. It’s possible.
Check out PC Ask Me. That is serious computer repair business and I am not kidding at all.
They offer online computer support that actually fixes your computer, and its easy too. They can resolve all of your computer problems using the Internet rather that lugging that heavy machine into a shop to be repaired and being without a computer for days on end. They also offer virus and spyware removal which I thought was so cool, because with all the different strains that appear and rear their ugly heads from time to time, having the ease of someone who knows what they are doing - remove it. Yeah. I’m all over that.
They will also set up and install all of your peripheral devices, any memory and performance enhancements you wish to make and so much more.
I’m pretty picky about cost, so I checked out their prices before I did anything and was surprised that Computer Repairs didn’t have to cost a lot.
They seem to be quite competitive with their prices, and the fact is, they offer a service that is unbeatable and as of right now, cannot be found anywhere else. This company has it all.
PC Ask Me uses the newest technology to connect to your computer and identify any problems and then works to solve them or offer solutions to any problems it finds. I was surprised to learn that using the Internet they could also upgrade or install Vista, as well as installing your digital camera, mp3 player and other add-on devices. That is totally cool!
Personally, I give the site kudo’s for the innovation of being able to solve computer problems while you stay in the comfort of your own home and PJ’s if you wanted and they can use the Internet to solve all your computer needs, as well as for being an inexpensive and easier alternative. Next time you have a computer issue or problem, go to PC Ask Me.
So what do you think? I was a bit tired of the bright colors that used to be here, but I couldn’t completely get rid of my little writing girl up there.
I think the colors are much more pleasing on the eyes and the template is MUCH easier to navigate around. I just love this look and its the same one I have on my scrapbooking blog, so it was easy to integrate here and then just create a new title.
Hope it is well received. Now to get onto my Thursday Thirteen.
